Universal Loan Officer

Position Summary: This position is responsible for identifying needs and providing assistance to current and prospective Bank customers for the purpose of recommending and selling First Bank of Baldwin products and services and advising customers of lending and banking service options available. Prospect new relationships through proactive calling efforts, while retaining and deepening existing relationships.  Promote the Bank’s loan products and programs internally and in the community through regular contact with real estate relators, builders, attorneys and other centers of influence.  Also responsible for analyzing risk, approving and disbursing primarily consumer and residential real estate loans to customers in accordance with established Bank policies. Responsible for expanding and deepening existing customer relationships through referrals to other business lines.  This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service through efficient and accurate processing of customer transactions.  Participates in local organizations, clubs etc. to promote the Bank and to support the community.

Qualifications: Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, Finance or Economics or related discipline or equivalent related experience. Three years of previous bank experience preferred. Additional education and/or experience in real estate loan area preferred. NMLS license required or ability to obtain. Commercial Loan Officer/ AVP

Position Summary: This position is responsible for developing, managing and growing a portfolio of commercial relationships. Responsible for identifying needs and providing assistance to current and prospective Bank customers for the purpose of recommending and selling First Bank of Baldwin products and services and advising customers of lending and banking service options available.   Also responsible for analyzing risk, approving and disbursing loans to customers in accordance with established Bank policies.  Prepares and presents loan and credit analysis to committees for use in the making of lending decisions on new, renewal and extension loans. Responsible for expanding and deepening existing customer relationships through referrals to other business.  Participates in local organizations, clubs etc. to promote the Bank and to support the community.

 

Qualifications: Requires 4-year college degree in finance or business administration (or related area) and a minimum of 3 years of commercial lending experience.  Experience in commercial, real estate loan underwriting and loan portfolio management. Thorough understanding of risks (market, rate, leverage, etc.) as it applies to the lending/borrowing process and demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical loan documents, financial statements, ratios and tax returns.
