This position is responsible for efficient operation of the Teller line, assuring quality customer services is provided to new and existing customers.  Provides planning, day-to-day leadership and direction to direct reports by setting the context and direction, defining accountabilities, tasks and assignments and establishing boundaries for decision-making and approvals.  Trains and coaches tellers for the efficient and accurate processing of teller work and to offer the most appropriate products and services to the Bank’s customers. Accurately performs all teller duties, balances a cash drawer and shows ultimate responsibility in handling cash and bank securities on a daily basis. Assists other employees with questions and problems and makes decisions and approvals pertaining to more complex transactions. Responsible for identifying needs and providing assistance to current and prospective Bank customers for the purpose of selling First Bank of Baldwin products and services and advising customers of account and banking service options available.  Responsible for expanding and deepening existing customer relationships through referrals to other business lines.

Primary work location is the Baldwin office; however work location and hours may vary by coverage need.  Position will rotate Saturday shifts with other incumbents.  Must be able to work flexible hours.

Qualifications: Requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent, and minimum two years of previous bank experience, including a complete knowledge of teller functions, responsibilities and knowledge of basic mathematical calculations and techniques required for efficient balancing is preferred. Previous customer service experience is required. Additional training in the areas of accounting, business or finance is preferred. Knowledge of banking products and services is required. Previous Leadership or Supervisory experience is required.
