Position Summary: First Bank of Baldwin is seeking a part-time up to full-time Universal Teller. Office locations include Balsam Lake, Spring Valley, Plum City or Baldwin. Position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service including efficient and accurate transaction processing. This will include taking deposits, withdrawals, and transfers for customers. Additionally, tellers may provide other services, such as prepaid cards, cashier’s checks, money orders, cashing bonds, etc. This position also provides assistance to current and prospective Bank customers for the purpose of selling First Bank of Baldwin products and services and advising customers of account and banking service options available and also refer customers to other bank departments as appropriate for additional services. Also responsible for ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations and laws including but not limited to, The Bank Secrecy Act. Understands compliance issues and attends training as it relates to the position.
Work location and hours may vary by coverage need. Part-time position averages a min of 20 – 24 hrs/week and must be able to work flexible hours. Full time position averages up to 40 hours per week. Position will rotate Saturday shifts with other incumbents.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1 – 2 years previous teller and cash handling experience preferred. Experience with customer service required. Candidate must possess good communication skills, be able to stand for extended periods of time, and able to carry coin (or other materials) weighing up to 30 pounds to vault area. May also consider High School student for part-time position in Balsam Lake (must be 15 years of age) and position is eligible for the Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship program. We seek demonstrated ability to provide the highest quality of customer service in an efficient, professional and accurate manner consistent with First Bank of Baldwin’s values and standards.
Salary: Competitive salary (and benefits for full-time positions). Additional (differential pay) of $3.00 per hour for working Saturdays
