Bookkeeping Specialist

Position Summary:  This position is responsible for performing operational support duties of the Bookkeeping/Operations Department. Assists in ensuring that all data processing functions operate effectively and efficiently; performs daily operations which support functions of core processing system(s), including intraday, nightly, and month end processing; computer operation; internet and mobile banking; processes requests from Bank personnel and customers within given authority and ensures requests are completed in a timely fashion; performs a variety of routine daily tasks; reviews reports, prepares correspondence; participates in special department projects.  Provides back-up responsibilities and support to other positions in the bookkeeping department.  Participates in local organizations, clubs etc. to promote the Bank and to support the community.

 

Qualifications:  High school diploma or equivalent required. Data entry and bookkeeping experience preferred.  Associate Degree in accounting or equivalent experience preferred.  Experience with customer service required.   Requires good interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills, strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and demonstrated high degree of accuracy with great attention to detail. Part-time Universal Teller

 

Position Summary:  First Bank of Baldwin is seeking a part-time Universal Teller to work primarily at the Plum City office location. Position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service including efficient and accurate transaction processing.  This will include taking deposits, withdrawals, and transfers for customers.  Additionally, tellers may provide other services, such as prepaid cards, cashier’s checks, money orders, cashing bonds, etc.  This position also provides assistance to current and prospective Bank customers for the purpose of selling First Bank of Baldwin products and services and advising customers of account and banking service options available and also refer customers to other bank departments as appropriate for additional services.   Also responsible for ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations and laws including but not limited to, The Bank Secrecy Act. Understands compliance issues and attends training as it relates to the position.

 

Primary location is the Plum City office location; however work location and hours may vary by coverage need. Part-time position will average a minimum of 18 hours per week and must be able to work flexible hours.  Position will be required to work a minimum of two Saturday morning shifts per month with other incumbents.

 

Qualifications:  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.  1 – 2 years previous teller and cash handling experience preferred.  Experience with customer service required.   Candidate must possess good communication skills, be able to stand for extended periods of time, and able to carry coin (or other materials) weighing up to 30 pounds to vault area.  We seek demonstrated ability to provide the highest quality of customer service in an efficient, professional and accurate manner consistent with First Bank of Baldwin’s values and standards.
